Admission Decisions

Admission decisions are guided by several factors including our long-standing commitment to seek and maintain diversity. Preference is given to siblings of current and former families, neighborhood families and children with special needs.

The Admission Committee seeks to balance each class with regard to gender, ethnicity, race, personality, temperament, family structure, and the inclusion of children with special needs. Decisions are not made on a first-come-first-served basis. When applicants exceed the available spaces, children not accepted remain in an active waiting pool to be considered when an appropriate place becomes available.

NCRC admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration or educational policies, admission policies, tuition assistance, or any other school sponsored programs.
